Chilliwack
Valley Chapter have a long history. We were founded in October of 1975 as a
chapter of Good Sams. We celebrated our 47th Anniversary October
2022.
Our members are
mainly from the Abbottsford, Chilliwack area but anyone from the Fraser valley
or lower mainland is welcome to join us. We camp in and around Hope BC from
April to September.
During the
winter we have monthly luncheons. Many of our campouts and lunches have themes
i.e., Valentines, St. Patrick’s, Easter etc. Christmas is always a special time.
Our campouts
are filled with fun and games such as Beanbag Baseball, Cornhole, Bocce and
Kubb. After all the exercise, we reward
ourselves with a Happy Hour.
In the evenings
weather permitting we sit around the fire (real or propane) and tell stories,
some of which are pretty tall but it’s all in fun.
We’re a fun,
friendly group. Anyone is welcome whether you’re in a tent, a
full-blown RV or
anything in between.
